CASE STUDY / 2026.01 — PRESENT

Insurance Core Platform Modernization

Unifying orders, products, marketing and user services across configurable insurance channels and H5 journeys.

01

Context

The platform consolidates insurance business logic and channel-specific data while existing services continue to operate.

02

My role

I work on the core platform and H5 modernization, map legacy behavior, document flows and coordinate the transition between systems.

03

Architecture

Spring Boot, MyBatis-Plus, Nacos and Kafka power the services; configurable H5 journeys capture key behavioral events.

04

Key challenges

  • Channel-specific product and marketing rules need a shared model without losing extensibility.
  • Parallel operation requires careful control of data divergence and cutover risk.
05

Approach

  • Clarified domain boundaries around product, order, marketing and user services to isolate channel variation.
  • Designed parallel-run reconciliation paths and included failure scenarios in the cutover workflow.
06

Outcome

  • Delivered a unified platform and H5 promotion flow capable of supporting multiple channels.
  • Produced flow and interaction documentation that improves collaboration and maintainability.
