Apps, merchant SaaS and operations systems for riders, vehicle dealers and motorcycle financing.

Context

The product serves riders, merchants and financing partners across rentals, vehicle state, revenue sharing, permissions and installments.

My role

I grew from Java engineer to team lead, contributing to architecture, service boundaries, revenue-sharing design and release coordination.

Architecture

Spring Cloud separates customer, operations, order, merchant and product services, supported by Redis, RabbitMQ, XXL-Job and Apollo.

Key challenges

  • Multiple clients share core data while roles, permissions and journeys differ significantly.
  • Urgent requests and planned iterations compete for capacity without lowering release quality.

Approach

  • Split services around order, merchant and product capabilities with clear interface ownership.
  • Used requirement review, capacity allocation and code review to protect delivery cadence.

Outcome

  • Contributed core modules for two customer apps and their merchant SaaS products.
  • Took ownership of iteration and code review, developing hands-on technical leadership.
